剧情：
阮力（周润发饰）曾经参加过越南战争，战争结束后，空有一身功夫的阮力失去了目标，他来到了香港，成为了一名杀手。虽然杀人如麻，但阮力却保留了一颗善良的心，在香港，他邂逅了名为阿琳（关之琳饰）的女孩，两人坠入了情网。可是，在一次任务中，阿琳的父亲成为了阮力的目标死于非命。渐渐的，阿琳对阮力的真实身份产生了怀疑，她的怀疑让她成为了下一个目标。阮力无法对阿琳下手，于是带着她踏上了逃亡的旅程，途中，阿琳终于知道了自己父亲死亡的真相，伤心欲绝的她对阮力充满了仇恨，她发誓要替父报仇。
